For the French version, please scrolldown.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who use or keep an eye on <a title=\"MCF main page\" href=\"http:\/\/manifoldcf.apache.org\/en_US\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">ManifoldCF <\/a>(it&#8217;s a connectors framework from the Apache foundation), its team just released (26th Dec. 2014) ManifoldCF 1.8 and 2.0. Yes, that&#8217;s two releases at the same time.<!--more--> If you wonder what the differences between those two are, the main thing is that MCF 2.0 is a clean up for many deprecated methods coming from the 1.x versions. This basically means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you start from scratch, go for 2.0<\/li>\n<li>If you already have MCF, and even more if you have modified it or created your own connectors, be careful when migrating, and in case migrate to 1.8 rather than 2.0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more details about the changes from these 2 versions, check the <a title=\"MCF 2.0 changes\" href=\"%20http:\/\/www.apache.org\/dist\/manifoldcf\/apache-manifoldcf-2.0\/apache-manifoldcf-2.0.CHANGES.txt\" target=\"_blank\">MCF 2.0 changes text file<\/a> or the <a title=\"MCF 1.8 changes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apache.org\/dist\/manifoldcf\/apache-manifoldcf-1.8\/apache-manifoldcf-1.8.CHANGES.txt\" target=\"_blank\">MCF 1.8 changes text file<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>FRENCH VERSION:<\/p>\n<p>Pour ceux d&#8217;entres vous qui utilisent ou qui s&#8217;int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 <a title=\"Page principale de MCF\" href=\"http:\/\/manifoldcf.apache.org\/en_US\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">ManifoldCF <\/a>(c&#8217;est un framework de connecteurs de la fondation Apache), son \u00e9quipe vient de sortir les versions 1.8 et 2.0 (26 d\u00e9cembre 2014). Oui, deux versions simultan\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous vous demandez quelles sont les diff\u00e9rences entre les deux, la pincipale est que MCF 2.0 est un grand nettoyage de m\u00e9thodes d\u00e9pr\u00e9ci\u00e9es au fur et \u00e0 mesure des diff\u00e9rentes versions 1.x.
